MY STORY- BRADY ALLEN McCARTHY 8-26-09
I’m a new volunteer and I like the work that MOD does. I want to be able to help other parents who have or will go through what my family had gone through in August of this year. I want others to be aware that what happened to us could happen to them as well. You just never know. No parent should have to go through what we experienced, but it does happen and there really isn’t too much explanation or research out there for others or myself to understand…

I have to confess, this is, perhaps, one of my favorite times of year. I'm not talking about Thanksgiving, nor Christmas. I like to think of this as the "give up" time of year. Whether it is lack of exercise, eating sinfully delicious foods, alcohol, or just plain old fashioned apathy...we all feel a little less guilt this time of year. Life is so much to process in this world of fascination where good and evil exist on the same level. One can not exist with out the other. this is true in all of us. You can feel it in your spirit and in your heart. It is the decisions that we make that can only be obtained. before time good was all there was until one night it was born and became a strong being and set out to control the world. The only way out is death and that is what we strive for. Time is against us fore we know how hard it…
