This semester I enrolled in a Health and Fitness course at IUE. I have to set my personal goals regarding my fitness level and over all health assessment. The reason I'm posting this message on Generation G? Well, I'm seeking the advice and support of the people in my community, those who have found ways to eat better, get in shape and reach their goals. If you have any advice, motivational resources or well wishes to pass along to me, please...please feel free to do so!!! I am going to need it!
Oh, my personal fitness goals? To get in shape and/or get my 'pre-baby' body back. My beautiful daughter is now 18 months old so it's way past time for me to lose the fat! Even though I didn't gain that much weight when I was pregnant, I managed to after she was born. I mainly gain weight when I'm stressed out & being a single mom, working and going to college provides the stress.
I'd like to lose around 20 pounds; but more than weight loss, my goal is to strenghten my abs & whole body through cardio/aerobics, yoga and resistance workouts. I am a vitamin taking nut and generally follow a good meal plan.
Well, this is the first post and hopefully the start of something enriching and positive! Thanks to all who read this and for your input!
