A Proxy Server is an intermediate server between the client and the Internet. Any request from the client network will go through the Proxy Server before reaching any website on the Internet. The proxy server alters our original IP address to prevent any cyber-attacks and provide protection against internet resources.

If a Proxy Server is used, the traffic flows through the Proxy server to the web server and the response from the website also comes through the same Proxy Server.

Yes, your description of a proxy server is accurate. A proxy server acts as an intermediary between a client (such as a computer or a user) and the Internet. When a client makes a request to access a website or other online resources, the request is sent to the proxy server first. And don't forget, you can always buy proxies and be on top of things. The proxy server then forwards the request to the destination (web server or other online resource) on behalf of the client.
