Dress code overboard....or spot on?

The revised student dress code for Richmond Community Schools has a lot of people up in arms...from parents to students to administration. Does this dress code impact you and your family? What are your thoughts about the dress code? What do you think about the incident at Richmond High School today...temporary suspensions for dress code violations? Go ahead and vent...get it off your chest...we promise we won't hold it against you.

i have 2 kids in garrion 3rd grader and 1 in k and i think the dress code sucks no flowers or nothing on them come on what the crap i think it should b like last year i had 2 go school shopping 2 times and i have 3 kids and i work about 16 to 24 hours a week and i dont have the money its nuts what can we do as parents to change this thay need 2 think about the drop outs not what my 3rd grader is wearing sponge bob on his shirt next r thay going 2 make the wear white underwear or can he still have spongebob on them get a life and work on other crap not this

This dress code is rediculous because my family has NO money to buy this kinda stuff and i have NEVER EVER in my 17 year life seen a pair of jeans with no design on the back pockets!!!! My girlfriend has NOTHING at all so i think we just need uniforms AND HAVE THE SCHOOL PAY for it......I went to muncie indiana and they didnt have ANYTHING!!
