This ain't the Mr. Rogers Neighborhood Wal-Mart

Before I say anything, this guy just looks like an old coot doesn't he?? If you saw this guy you would avoid eye contact because he looks like a crazy old dude. Well guess what? He is!

Sonya Matthews and her 2 yr old daughter were at a Stone Mountain, GA Wal-Mart. When the little girl started to cry, up walks crabby old Roger Stephens. He says, "if you don’t shut that baby up, I will shut her up for you,” according to a police report.

2 aisles over when the little girl starts crying again here comes Old Man River (probably with the same look as the one in the picture above). He grabs Sonya Matthews 2 year old daughter and slaps her about 4-5 times in the face! Stephens then told Mathews, “See, I told you I would shut her up,” according to the report. HUH??

The little girl wasn't hurt. Roger Stephens probably will be though. He is being charged with felony cruelty to children. He had his first court appearance Tuesday and is being held at the Gwinnett County Detention Center without bond.
