What makes you think that just because people can not afford another set of clothing for their children that they are uneducated. You are way off base with that statement. I am a single mom raising 3 children, my oldest one is in her third year of college, my youngest is in 2nd grade. Before you make any assumptions, I was married to the same man for 20 years who I divorced after many years of drug and alcohol abuse. I own my own home. I have never smoked, used drugs or alcohol. I have put myself through college and earned two degrees. I work full time in a local doctors office. I get very little support because my ex would rather not work and feel sorry for himself. I conformed to the dress code of LAST YEAR. As a result my children have plenty of nice looking striped and plaid shirts. I can not afford to buy another set of clothing but even if I could it is not a case of learning to conform to the rules. It is a case of what is actually well thought out and fair to all. This new dress code is neither.
