The Stormwater Management Pond Planting Guidelines have been produced by the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority (NVCA) to complement its existing municipal stormwater review services. These guidelines follow the recommendations provided in the Stormwater Management Planning and Design Manual (MOE, 2003) and its accompanying 4. Stormwater Objectives The following section provides an overview of stormwater management objectives and design criteria for the study area, with reference to the MOECC's SWM Planning and Design Manual (2003), and TRCA SWM Guidelines (2012): + No quantity control is required in this portion of the Humber River Watershed as per the TRCA's The stormwater management plan shall be developed in accordance with the City's Design Criteria and Standard Drawings, the TRCA's Stormwater Management Criteria (April 2012 or most recent edition) and the MECP's Stormwater Management Planning and Design Manual (2003 or most recent edition). 1.3.1.2 Level of Service The system is to be "Stormwater Management Planning and Design Manual" (MOE 2003); and "Flood Plain Management in Ontario Technical Guidelines" ( MNR 1987). This document does not present examples on the application of the various computational methodologies or design applications presented within the manuals listed above; however, references are provided key design considerations and assumptions adopted to determine the preliminary swm facility sizing requirements are provided below: · the swm ponds have been sized to provide quantyflood control for the mean adjusted ì year, ð hour event under the future climate change scenario addional flood control storage for the 250 year event will be provided … based on suggested good practice from the 2003 MOE Stormwater Management Planning and Design Manual, with the support from staff in Parks, Forestry and Recreation. The design guideline will be used in the review and approval of ponds proposed by developers to meet the stormwater management requirements for their plans of subdivision. Bay of Quinte Remedial Action Plan - Stormwater Management Design Guidelines (March 2006) - referred as BQRAP SWM Guidelines. Ministry of the Environment Stormwater Management Planning and Design Manual (2003) - referred as MOE SWMPDM. Ministry of Natural Resources River and Stream Systems Flooding Hazard Limit Technical Guide (2002) meet the requirements of the March 2003, Ministry of the Environment's Stormwater Management Planning and Design Manual. 2.1.1 Stormwater Quantity Control Every effort should be made to maintain existing watershed boundaries and drainage patterns. Pre-consultation will be mandatory for any proposed shift in drainage boundaries. 2003 Stormwater Management Planning and Design Manua l (SWMPDM). This manual, and its companion document, the 2003 SWMPDM, collectively provide the guidance and SWM criteria, necessary to implement a holistic treatment train approach to stormwater management in Ontario using the full spectrum of source, conveyance and end-of-pipe controls. • The LID Guide and MOE Manual provide design guidance How To • Enhanced Level of Protection is required as per 2003 MOE Stormwater Management Planning and Design Manual • Additional water quality control may be required as per Municipal criteria (i.e City of Toronto along the waterfront where
