Guided math first grade

Welcome Everyone! I'm excited to have this website to share everything that I have discovered, created and learned. I have been teaching for 17 years, in grades 1st - 5th. Most of those years have been in multi-age, split classrooms, which I have come to love. Guided-Math was created out of a need for a way to teach math to two grades at once Finally, there's a practical and manageable Guided Math solution! From warm-up to whole group minilessons to teacher-led small groups to centers rotations, hand2mind offers a practical, classroom-tested, hands-on solution. Jennifer at Rowdy in First Grade had shared her adaptation to Guided Math a while back. And, since I am working in basically the same time-frame, I really think that I can find a way to make it work for me. Each Guided Lesson, spanning Preschool through 5th grade, features different resources—games, songs, stories, exercises—in a specially designed flow that gradually builds on each activity. Even better, you can easily check in each child's journey with Progress Tracker. Guided Math uses large group mini-lessons, small guided math groups, and Engaged Learning Activities to maximize the math learning opportunities for each and every student. We strive to provide you with resources and ideas to help as you teach the Common Core State Standards in math. The guided math links below will take you to grade level bundles.
