To those diagnosed with breast cancer: how did you realise something was wrong?

Before getting diagnosed, how did you realise something odd was going on?

I didn't. I had 0 anything at all, including 0 family history of any form of cancer. I just turned 40 and went for the free mammo cause Sure why not? And no other reason. Came up a winner, and they had caught it SUPER early, so no symptoms and "easy" treatment.

But I was really very lucky, because I was treated with the slow metabolizer of dichloroacetate. This drug turned out to be incredibly effective in treating cancer, so I was cured without too much trouble.
