Bedroom Sets Tacky

I don’t know anything about interior design. Is it tacky to buy the entire set of something? We have these west elm side tables and I’m wondering if we should go ahead and buy the matching bed and a dresser or would that look too matchy? Any furniture suggestions on how to make it look cooler?
