old school video games....

a friend and i were just having a great argument....what is the best old school video game of all time?....it is actually pretty tough....i have a few that i could argue are the best....super mario bros. pretty much started the whole thing, and god knows i spent a lot of time playing that game......and of course tetris will forever be a legend....but i think if i have to pick what i think is the best old school game ever...my money has to go on....castlevania.....yeah...in my opinion one of the very best old school games ever...of course contra was a close second....

what do you think is the best old school video game of all time?

**update** i forgot to give mention to what is my most important game of all time...and that is
mortal kombat...when i was 14, i was more interested in mortal kombat than i was in girls...and i think that may still hold today...so now, i am torn between mortal kombat and castlevania....

I adore sega, even now I sometimes play it. But more of course I prefer computer games. And now I'm playing cs go. I like that the game can be improved by buying skins. The games we've seen in the past are gradually giving way to the new format. My children are already teenagers and play mainly online team video games like CSGO and Dota. burger time was good....it was so damn hard..i still can't get past like level 5 on that game..i am not even sure how many levels there are....and i don't think ANYONE has seen past level 7....

when it came to driving...nothing beat spy hunter for me...i still find myself playing that one at home...it just never gets old...

and as far as tekken...i would not really consider that one old school....but i have encountered many people that talk a big game of their tekken skills....but they still get smoked....if you want to play some tekken...BRING IT ON!...
